I'm a little flattered to get my own thread here (that I didn't have to go and post myself. I don't know what to say really, I mean how to reply to what seems like an open letter to yours truly.
But your right about everything you said. Except me having a brother.
I've always tried very hard to be clever to be witty, since I was no more than 3 feet high off the ground... to arouse others with my pointless banter.
And I'm afraid your not the only one who feels that I have failed with such attempts, or as you had correctly put my repeated cries for attention or love.
Cleverness is certainly something you either have or you don't, in my case like you pointed out, I.... I apparently don't.
And in real life it's not much different. I've led a lonely life - love don't come round here no more. Often times the sheer sound of my voice is enough to stop a party or drive people from the room. At least online in a BBS situaltion I can get a few paragraphs off before a thread clears, in real life it's much quicker.
I've always tried to be different, to be "alternative". As a child I forced myself to listen to Morrisy for this explicit reason which was more painful than I care to explain.
As far as being recieved as funny... I do get the occasional lol, a rofl here or there, but it's generally sparse. You would think I could take a hint, I know.
But I guess with such poor output comes equally poor reception. And your right again, a lot of the mindless drivel that shits from my perky lips I actually find funny. Likewise I hold appreciation for other things that most people don't find even remotely funny. And these things more than often aren't supposed to be funny in the first place.
I guess we all see and do things differently and thats what makes us, us. And your right, you and no one else could teach me how to be witty, funny or even intresting for that matter. But you know what? I would never ask in the first place... never have and never will.
As for Thom Yorke, hey I'll take that as a compliment, I quite like Radiohead, and being called retarded is highly underrated in fact it brings back the glory days of my youth when the children would stone me in the playground during recess.
No on the eye twitch. I also don't have a brother although I wish I did, I suspect that would be cool to have a brother. I think capitalism is ok it lets us be our own boss if we so choose to work hard and persue it, I'm not one of the guys who tries to boycott Starbucks... I just think that some of those companies that take advantage of this countries capitolist nature would be more fair when competing with the little guys.
Again, I'm glad you took the iniciative to address me and put me in my place. I hope that what I said here will help you to understand what this place is.
Good day my lord.
