Just bought a ton of new stuff and have been forgetting what all I added to my iPod.
(Just installed itunes because I discovered over the weekend that by not having itunes and ipodsetup.exe, the available space was not showing up properly. Connected my ipod to a friend's computer and it said I had 3.5 GB free, when for the last two months EphPod has been showing less than a Gig. Crazy. Now I'm in business)Anyhow, I've been listening to, in no particular order:
New - New Order, Beck, NIN, Bloc Party, Christopher O'Reilly (Radiohead on piano), and also just picked up Hot Hot Heat, The Futureheads, the deluxe edition of Sonic Youth's Dirty, Jesus & Mary Chain's Psycho Candy, Sigur Ros' Von, and my favorite of the bunch, the new album Open Season by British Sea Power.
Please get the album Open Season, it's been a while since I've heard something like this. The song North Hanging Rock is wonderful, makes me feel younger and like it had a place in my life a long time ago.
Other than that, lots of The Smiths and lots of Morrissey as always.
