I wish I could make some suggestions, but the most I would say is to directly ask a few soccer Mom-types & their soccer children what they would want out of a soccer/sports program.
The Girl Scouts revamped their look a while ago to look more up-to-date & kick-butt like girls are OR like to be today. And of course they still get the traditional mommies. But that's because of the established meaning of Girl Scouts.
That might be something to look at.
