Sorry to join in on all the Toshiba bashing but I would really recommend going with something else... anything else. From personal experience: they are unreliable (power issues, cheap ram, display problems), their customer support is terrible, and they come loaded with a mess of proprietary software that slows them down to mud and takes a month just to get it all off.
I use macs now (sorry to bring that up), but have friends in my studio that all swear by IBM's products. I would check them out.
