ibm rarely has problems.....the new sizes for the t4* line are smaller then big laptops and bigger then the sony...HP sucks and now that they are partnered with Compaq....its even worse and their tech support blows....I had to send them my lap when I had a paq and I didnt have it for 4 months....
you never hear anyone really complain about IBM....I just bought an older one ...... for like $500 and the think works well with all that I try to do with it.....
I dont mind a little less power cause I know I spent less but I used a friends new one and the thing blazes..... just make sure the screen res goes up to at least 1280x1024 thats the only prob.....the older models only go up to 1024x768
