skt i even really did laugh out loud at that, but i'm most certainly not going to type you-know-what. i think what you dislike about all of those things is not that they're particularly american but that they represent the homogenisation of language in the wake of the "global interface" or whatever the fuck we're calling the interweb nowadays. you don't mind my silly faux-georgia argot any more than you mind mx's accent, do you? it's just the so-cal across-the-board stuff that's particularly nauseating.
