Overall, I think it looks nice. But I'd like to see the work featured more prominently than the design of the site. I've seen a lot of great (and successful) art directors with very simple sites. Yours seems to be a type of site that a creative director would have to take time to explore. But they never have time to "explore".
Without redoing the whole thing, one thing that I think would help is to include a thumbnail when you roll over the work instead of only text descriptions.
