Good good, I've gotten two comments on how good I look today, both were about a particular pinstripe blazer I was wearing, but deep down I know it's because I finally got a haircut and it looks SHARP!
I'm calling it a "reverse mullet for the naughts," an ultra sleek short in back and sides, long in front combo.
The hair in the back around my neck is barely 1/2 an inch in length, and the front is probably 6" long now. It's hot! Pictures soon!Other than that, I had a good laugh leaning out the car window last night and screaming like I was being murdered as we drove past that bridge here in Chicago where all those people congregate and look at the Virgin Mary stain on the wall.
Religious heckling, if you will.Band has a show in about a week, and tomorrow is the moment I have been long waiting for:
I am flying home to Texas to surprise my Mom for Mother's Day. She has no idea I am coming him, I am in secretive planning with my Stepdad, who has convinced her that they are going fishing and camping this weekend (so that she's off on Friday).
I'm going to come home with him from the airport, hide out around the side of the house, and appear at the doorstep with a camera to take a picture of her reaction, which I hope doesn't involve fainting or a heart attack!Other than that, also doing some forward recon in Dallas and Ft. Worth towards planning a short 1 1/2 week tour for my band in July/August.
