i'm not sure which was more effective in getting me to fuck right off out of the us of a forever and ever:
fox news or the presidential election of 2000.
one, of course, is a metonym for the other (which i guess means that they're synechdoches). both symptoms of the same cancer eating away what's left of the wormy soul of my madre patria.
