spotlight is cool but i have been using Quicksilver for a long time and i think it is prettier and a bit more effective:

so far imho quicksilver is better for launching apps and spotlight better for docs...
if you use the weather widget go by your zip code...for me the city name gave temps that were like 20 degrees off
