I think the typography needs a bit of work. The cover of the CD looks very bland. The style is cool but you just need something to make it look more interesting.
Why don't you put the pinquin on the cover. It makes a more interesting looking cover then with just the text
The background image doesn't really look rock and roll. It looks too neat and clean cut. That's just my opinion. I do like it with the layout but maybe you can try something else.
I think if it's a givaway then try exporing a cover image that will definitely catch people's attention.
I get these free cd's all the time, some I never open because they are badly designed.
