    it's actually quite odd, a lot of effort is put into skateboard graphics, it even fills up books, generates expositions etc. yet on the other side it's very destructive, the average skater won't take too long to get the graphics damaged. but i think that's the goal as well, to destroy it asap, at least the bottom, because i can imagine one is seen as a toy if one skates with a perfect deck. anyways, it's quite odd anyways, it's like painting something and then set fire to it.

    i agree with some other people here, i think designers will be more interested in bying it than actually skaters. most skaters don't know who you are or for instance ps is.
