i used it and will most likely use it again.
it's not a trend.
it's jsut a way to make your work stand out better.
less clutter, more to the point.
i love portfolio's that don't scream: "LOOK AT ME! LOOK AT ME!"
unless it's been done in a really really refreshing manner, but that is rarely the case.
