The next best thing to being a F/T designer, can't afford to do the freelance full time but I am slowly building up contacts.
Being a postman is a chance for me to get out of the office environment, give me a few hours to get some good exercise and have a think about things, I always take a little notepad to jot down design ideas, inspiration etc.
Sad, but hey it pays the rent.
