I’ve always found it funny that those who seem to think they are the authority on parenting are people without kids. And usually they are the same ones who are most likely to say "Can't you keep that kid quiet."
Sometimes the lessons of childhood need to be hard ones. You coddle a kid to when they have lost it and you teach them that bad behavior is an acceptable way to get what they want. That attitude can carry right though into adulthood My old CD is proof of that.
