"i've seend the benefits of using linux in many different situations, and have never been let down."
sparker, you're a network admin or some other nerdy bullshit. of course linux seems intuitive to you - but give a copy of red hat, osx and windows to the retired couple down the street to install, and see which OS's they manage to 'figure out'. when they go to compusa to find some edutainment software for their 6 year old grandkids, or when they are purchasing a printer and are looking at the back of the box to ensure the simple do-it-yourself photo editing software will work on their computer (usually only windows/mac compatible). that's just one of many demographics that i could point out that would be totally lost in a linux env. it's a powerfull OS, and has it's advantages - especially as a web server, but your tired windows hating rhetoric only serves as an example of your closed-mindedness in the field of technology. either you need to spend more time looking into other technologies or learn to argue better.
