I use to work at the Federal Building. I have seen it all. The cops have not balls or backing. They let the folks walk into the street and sit down, when they could have easily pushed them along, preventing anything from getting started.
On day, five fools blocked Golden Gate Ave, as I watched from my office. So the SFPD, adding in the protest efforts blocked of the block ends and rerouted traffic. Just as the traffic was beginning to flow properly the five fools get up and walk over to the cross street and block it!
