Hey, sorry if I offended you, but fact is most logos are made different, and to point out ONE specific font used in most logos in a book about fonts is a bit difficult. I'm not claiming to be smarter than everyone else, most people in here are designers, and most designers know that logos are made by lots of different people, with lots of different fonts.
My guess is, though, that a lot of the logos in that book is made using some sort of Helvetica...
