Bringing back GIF89a
To create a transparent background for the Web, many people use the GIF89a Export plug-in found under the File Menu, under Export. However, in Photoshop 6.0, that plug-in is no longer installed. If you miss it, it's actually still on the Photoshop Install CD-ROM. Insert the disc and press Command-F (Find) to locate "GIF89a." Once you find the plug-in, put it inside your Photoshop folder, inside the Plug-ins folder, inside the Adobe Photoshop Only folder, inside the Import/Export folder. Then restart Photoshop. Once again, GIF89a will appear under the Export menu.
