_smk, it's not that I felt any weight. In fact, before my conversion, I was quite happy albeit with a nagging sense of something missing. What I realized though, is that the Bible teaches that everyone is born with a sin nature and that everyone is in need of redemption. It's a global predicament that we all share and nothing to perceive as judgemental. :) I'm forgiven, but FAR from perfect.
