It's curious. I think maybe it's because of our postmodern culture - people are hungering for something deeper than that which they've been persuing.

i come into contact with people of many different belief systems...alot them are "finding religion" because they wonder about the current events in our world. do recent events, like the tsunami, or passing of the pope, have any real meaing...etc.
