every thursday, back in the day, i used to swing by a friend of mine's company..he ran a film house downtown toronto..
anyhow, on thursday nights, i'd bring over a 12 of beer, and we'd hang out, drink a few..maybe smoke a joint..then go over to Betty's...a great design bar around the corner..
anyhow, it was great times doing that...
until one day i came by and a mutual aquaintence was allready there..
and the two of em were doing lines..
i was pretty surprised...
didn't think my buddy was into that sorta thing...
anyhow, as the weeks went by, the thursday night hangout became more and more about doing some coke, and less and less about just chilling out and having a good time..
til the end, where it was ONLY about the coke..and more and more weird ass friends of theirs coming out of the woodwork..folks i'd NEVER have hung out with..dude eventually lost the company...there were plenty of other problems involved of course that lead to that..but coke was definitely one of them.
needless to say, i think it's bad bad bad news...
