The pot makes your brain work completely different. Can it get you productive... that's hard to answer, and it depends on person.
The thing about the pot is... if you smoke too much it gets you stoned, as a result you are not so productive anymore. You should not get stoned cause you aren't capable of doing anything... but I do believe if you use it right (not too often, neither too much) it can give excellent results...
