I, personally, am not a big fan of the Yahoo redesign. It looks too AOL-ish for me. The cute bubbly buttons and the colors that were chosen. It is better than the previous Yahoo, but it just doesn't do it for me.
I guess given the audience of families and children, then it works great, which is probably who hillman curtis was designing for.
