What department?
For the most part it's a solid school...
Film department may be lacking from what I understand. Students are very nice and you have a lot coming from other countries/Asia. Teachers in fine art department are top notch, photography as well. Interactive media and web isn't as good as what SVA could offer. The programs are well rounded though, and fine arts are pushed heavily no mateer what major you choose which is very help , and lacking in other schools.
