Yes I was in Desert Storm and I support our troops and their families. I have several friends over there. Many with kids and I thank them for their sacrifice. Does that mean I support us going to war, no. I was hoping that we could settle this without war. But hell! That's the way things go. I'm an American and I'm damn proud and very thankful.
I took my kids out to dinner tonight and as I sat across the table from them, a wave of peace and guilt ran across me. How blessed we are to have all that we have. I just wish the same for the Iraqi people.
