Some facts:
The USA doesn't get most of 'her' oil from Alaska. (but you can bet that from now on the USA will be getting 99% of her oil from East Texas...er...I mean Iraq.)
The war and occupation will cost a few hundred billion to one trillion.
so..Iraq has 11% of the EARTH'S oil supply... which equals hundreds of trillions of dollars.Why do you think Bush is taking all these risks? MONEY - POWER - CORRUPTION.
Haliburton (cheney's old company) already has the contract on the Iraqi oil wells.
as to answer the person that said that the wars in Africa and Yugoslavia were "humanitarian" in nature.....Haliburton also has oil pipeline contracts in Afghanistan, Bosnia/Albania area and oil contracts in Africa.
This global quest bush is on is not about humanity.
The US is defying the UN by attacking Iraq for defying the UN. hhmmmm. OK..
Saddam and Iraq had nothing to do with 911.
911 is an excuse to wage war and steal the resources of any nation that is in question.....Iran, Saudi Arabia, Syra, Egypt, Lybia, Yemen and Qatar..
These countries will be next in line for 'a good ass kickin'
