  it needs a deadline for entry so stragglers can't add on and screw the math involved.

  depending on the number of participants it will be easier to determine how long of a track and how long each person gets

  ie. 3min track
  30 sec clips = 6 people
  15 sec clips = 12 people

  i say the track should be no longer than 5 min because of total file size w/ vid/aud

  so 5min track:
  30 sec clip = 10 people
  15 sec clip = 20 people

  how many people are actually going to submit and complete thier segment?
