ok, Let me answer your question again.
1. dont tell us what to do or how to respond to threads. This is the place where we can say freely what we think or what we feel best fits your question.
2. If you are just going to learn another language for fun, dont waste your time. there is enough spanish/french designers out there. I would suggest wasting your energy on something productive and that will be more beneficiary for you and others.
3. I think this descision has to come up from where you want to move. If you are moving to france learn french, if you are moving to spain/mexico learn spanish, it is easy as that.
4. if you have friends that speak french, learn french and viceversa. Why learn spanish when your friends only speak french? Yeah, you will look cool when you say "Donde esta el BaƱo?" But that is as far as you will get because you wont have anyone to practice with.
5. as any other language practice is the key. I know people that have been in Spanish classes for 3 years and dont know how to carry a conversation. why? because they dont have anyone to practice with, as simple as that.
My first language is spanish. Born and raised in Mexico City so you know dawg-right I know my language, but since I have a chance to practice my english, it is easier to learn it. I am not perfect to english I know specially in my grammar, but who cares!? as long as I get to practice it it is easier to get a grasp of it
Practice is the key.
oh, one more thing...
dont tell me how to answer on the threads. this only encourages us to post more meaningless comments (at least me).
When I saw the title of this thread I was like COOL! but once I saw your comments of how you wanted the tread to be answered, it just killed it.
