Mimio, once again you've just demonstrated how not to read the Bible - pulling texts out of context.
Here's the complete passage:
18 - No one has ever seen God, but God the One and Only, who is at the Father's side, has made him known.
The Bible teaches that God's invisible attributes were revealed in Christ. This is why Jesus could say, "He who has seen me, has seen the Father.(John 30)" They possess the same nature. Until Christ, no, no one had seen God in his infinite triune nature - the Bible says he is spirit. He is immaterial.
