Oh man, I remember when I quit this one time, I was al edgy and grinding my teeth. And I was working in a restaurant, so there was no shortage of frustrating situations or cigarettes, which made it that much harder, but I got through, and you can get through. After about a week, your body won't craze the nicotine, but your mind will still craze the repetative habit of lighting up as a response to whatever made you smoke before. That's the danger zone- those activities that make you wanna smoke.

For me, McDonalds used to make me wanna smoke so bad, so I stopped eating McDonald's to cut down on one of my (what recovering drug addicts call) triggers. Try cutting out one or two of your triggers and see if that makes it any easier.

That- or get a girlfriend who says she'll dump you if you don't quit.
