I find it funny how people convieniently forget that Jesus was a jew. I got into a discussion with this anti-semite once and he brought up the "i don't like jews because of...blah blah blah...and they killed the lord and savior".

I said, "do you study the bible and go to church regularly? participate in church events and such?"

    He said, "no".

I said, "well you may want to consider it....it'll educate you on the fact that jesus was a jew and it'll give a better reason to refer to Jesus as 'the lord and savior'." He was dumbfounded.

I just don't like it when people are are christian when it's convienent.

None the less, here's something I've thought about regarding the bible.

When it was originally written, is it not possible that during it's translation into the King James version, alot of the descriptive text that was used was incorrectly translated simply because they had no way of describing specific events or things with the language of the time.

If we saw 2000 years into the future, chances are slim that we're going to be able to accurately describe what we saw so that others could understand because the technology 2000 years from now is likely to be more advanced than our current technology. Just a thought...I'm sure I'm not the only one to process that concept..
