realise your own worth and negotiate the price up first...
Outline it for them. "I estimate the site will take me this many hours, and so for that price I would be making $6/hour. I would like to make x amount per hour for the project and I would be happy to do it."
Do it professionally, and with confidence that you are worth the money that you are asking for.
If that fails, then you still have the option of taking it, that's up to you.
you should be able to get them up if they like your work, they know you already, and so it saves the hassle of finding someone else to do it.
