well, that's with tagged compression... there are other algorithms that work differently (such as wavelets for video/audio). i'm no compression expert, but AFAIK tagged compression (as seen in ZIP, RAR, RLE, etc) is pretty much tapped out, but someone may come up with a new, innovative method that works better.
