I would suggest IBM too. Although Jeedub is right, Dell does some plus sides, even tho they are giant. I think some of them have some pretty intense resolutions that alot of laptops lack, such as the powerbook.
IBM though has really good tech support from looking at my fathers experience and from what I have heard. I value tech support for a laptop since its not usually something you can take care of on your own like a desktop.
