Since I started buying computers on my own dime, I have bought nothing but Sony and (knock on wood) have had not one problem. I have a Sony Vaio Laptop and a Sony Desktoop, the desktop has been with me for 3.5 years now and not one problem.
Maybe luck of the draw, I have to restart (due to program errors) my G5 at work more than either of my sony's.
