Baker's beach--Lajolla (nude). The best surf, and I saw an old couple making out with a boombox next to them, playing Peaches and Cream. Enough said.
Gaslamp, Pacific and Ocean Beaches for drinking and nectars. Also, in Pacific Beach, you can score schwag from this neo-hippie lurker named Ethan. He's this white dude with nappy ass dreds. Go up to him and whisper the eagle has landed, and he'll slip you a sack with enough stems to build a small cottage on the beach.
Tijuanna-- to see old men selling Jesus statues at 4:00 am, little 5 year old girls selling chiclets (gum), and to score steroids on the cheap.
Hillcrest: super Andrew Cunanen Gay. Best smoothies in town.
Oh, I saw Living Colour at some dive in the Gaslamp, but I forget the name.
