if she keeps trying to get you to cut your hair, change the subject of conversation.
my mom wanted me to cut my hair, so i went ahead and did it, since i was moving out that day. I figured i'd give her one last "hurrah".
the reaction wasn't great...most people went "you cut your hair...hmmm..."
