I never understood this phrase:
i eat to live, i don't live to eat.

i'll explain it.i only eat when i'm hungry and only the food that i need to survive. sure.... 6 times a day but i eat food in proportion.
i don't live to eat... i.e. cooking a whole pizza for myself and eating it in one or two sittings. or worse, throwing out what i don't eat of it. or going to a restaurant and stuffing myself stupid with a 5 course meal and throwing out half a fillet. or buying 2 cartons of ice cream and getting one free just to get the one free, only to throw out the free carton a month later cause it has freezer burn.
understand now? that's about as simple as i can put it.
