    LOL Danski :)

I have worked for design agencies and for the past two years for an advertising agency (tbwa).

I've worked with art directors in both fields. I've noticed many differences. Especially when it comes to communication concepts.

At the design agency a concept was more a theme. You know. We've designed your interior based on a kindergarten. That's why we used bright colors and large shapes.

In advertising a concept is more about telling a story. Making a point. If you buy brand A people will think you are smart.

The thing is that they are both trying to make a point. And both trying to sell more product for their clients. The only difference is that when I see a brand identity I have no clue what the designer was thinking and when I see advertising I know it very well.
