it is why sites like yahoo, google, blogs and wikipedia are so publicly popular. they are about information. not silly animations and ignorant navigations.
why do you think rss agregators are so popular???
people don't want all the stupid graphical shit on their screens. they want the information.
designers think everything is about the pretty pictures. that the imagery is the message.
