how so? because we've seen images of them in the media? the very fact that they separated shortly after the movie was completed made the experience more realistic for me.
*note: i'm sick and i just finished a 10-pg essay in 4 hours so i'm a little cranky.

(Mar 27 05, 19:52)Let me clarify...I watcched it 3 times and I think it is a beatiful film and a nice goodbye from Mr. Kubrick. I think the reason so many people pan it is simply because the 2 main characters were so prevelant in tabloid culture that it diminished the film for many in the audience.
