zed: Believe me - I know what you mean - I'm currently single as well.
I guess what I'm suggesting is that, whatever we feel we lack in terms of friendship, love, intimacy - is quite possibly a result of limitations that we place on ourselves.
I know for myself, it's often very easy to allow myself to fall into a state of feeling "helpless", when in fact the opposite is true ..
