oh, and i think the whole 'catholic vs christian' thing is bizzare..
it might be somekind of confusion around this tho..
perhaps when someone says 'christian' here..what they REALY mean is 'born again christian'...
i've noticed a tendency amongst 'born again' types to not recognize others as christian unless they too have been born again..
i think that is what was going on there with that confusion..so lets just be frank, and say catholics, and catholisism in general although possibly flawed, and certainly not without it's problems, IS infact the first. not only are they christians, they are THEEE christians..everything else came from them (as far as i understand it...)
it be like asking about jews, and then saying..no..not those orthodox chaps with the furry hats and long hair..i mean the REAL jews...
it's like 'huh?
so, there ya go..
catholics = christian
born-again= christian,
same with protestant, etc.
