    my wife is east indian and catholic, i'm white and an athiest.
    not a problem at all.
    thought at first they might not let me get married in church, but the priest was totally cool..i just had to promise that if my wife wanted to raise the kids catholic, i wouldn't prevent her from doing it..
    which i wouldn't ...
    besides, the priest is a close friend of my father in law (that definitely helps) and even better, my father in law although raised catholic, thinks it's all a bunch of baloney anyways..he just likes the ceremony of it all...you know..wanted us to have our daughter baptised, not for the sake of 'getting her in to the church' but more because it's a great excuse to have a big family party..

    now that is my kind of thinking too.
    so we did :)

    and there ya have it..
    as long as both of you are willing to be flexible it's all good
