Oh man - Accept was awesome for like twoalbums...Fast as a Shark, Balls to the wall. Udo was like gay metal before rob halford had the guts to come out of the metal closet..
What about Manowar? (All Men Play On Ten you know), and Twisted Sister before they went all corporate? Dee was a bad ass mother-funcker..They ruled NYC for about a year and a half (Shout out to the Brooklyn Metal scene - where is Pete Steel these days?? - and my poor '81 Yugo that died on the Brooklyn Bridge on the way to L'Amours... Jumped out, took the plates and registration off it and went home. That was a metal car. Wow, good times...
