Their stuff may all look similar... this is partly due to the poor imitations... I've been around to agencies to see what they want... and they always say 'I've always liked the stuff of 2A, can we have it like that' ... So you can see how it spreads.
I think their only danger is that they need to progress... and take the style even further... a lot of the elements are simple timelined animations... I reckon they'd benefit from a bit more interaction with the user to affect those. (Just my tens pennies worth. (about 15 Euros?)).
Also, if you think about the amount of web sites they are in the world... There is definitely room for that style... The reason it's so abbundant is that a lot of people like it, and rave about it.
