versa, thanks for keeping it alive. I have actually posted similar questions on open-source search apps too with no good results. I have used phpDig's engine, and a few others, but so far, I am not thrilled with anything. There really has to be a solution. I have also built a few from scratch but I feel like I am trying to re-invent the wheel.
