IF you ever get a chance to rent the first season on DVD, watch it with the commentary. It is hilarious.
The talk on there about how Don Vito was in some kind of drinking contest at a radio station, in Florida I think, and he ate so much and drank so much he was in a light coma for a day or so.
That's why his mother gets so mad at him when he drinks.
