podcast is such a gimicky term. like pocho said, its just an mp3.
not some kind of amazing new technology or anything. when did the mp3 start up? 1999?
what would be cool is if an ipod used bluetooth, syncd up with an rss feed and downloaded these "pod casts" or if ipods actually recorded programs like tivo or something.
